Worship & Liturgy
- Altar Guild – Preparing and caring for the altar, vessels, linens, and vestments
- Music Ministry – Cathedral choir, organ, and other sacred music traditions.
- Choir practice is every Thursday at 7 PM. Contact Music Director Helen Suh for more information. sjcathedralmusic@gmail.com
- Lay Readers & Intercessors – Assisting in leading worship and prayers
- Servers – Supporting liturgical processions and Eucharist
- Chancel Guild – Care of the sanctuary and liturgical furnishings
- Lectors – Reading Scripture in worship
- Prayers in the Chapel – Personal intercession and support during services
- Lay Administrants – Assisting in distributing communion
Christian Education
- Sunday School / Children’s Ministry – Christian education for children
- Bible Study Groups – Ongoing study and reflection on Scripture
- Alpha Course – Anglican program for introducing and deepening faith
- Adult Education Programs – Theological and spiritual learning
- Preparation for Sacraments – Baptism, Confirmation, Marriage, First Eucharist
- Parish Conferences – Formation events for the wider community
- Library & Archive – Supporting Christian education and heritage preservation
Care & Nurture
- Friendship Circle, similar to Anglican Church Women – Fellowship, fundraising, and outreach
- Men’s Group – Gathering for fellowship and service
- Chronicle (Parish Newsletter) – Communications and updates
- Prayer Chain – Confidential prayer ministry for those in need
- Pastoral Visiting Teams – Home, hospital, and bereavement visits
- Home Communion Visitors – Bringing the Eucharist to shut-ins
- Youth Group – Ministry for teens and young adults
- Craft Group – John West Cottage Industries – Fellowship and fundraising through crafts
- Telephone Communications & New Member Visitors – Welcoming and connecting parishioners
- After-Church Coffee & Lunches – Hospitality ministry
