We are grateful to Creator for Treaty One land on which we worship and live; the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Ininiwak, Anishininwak, Dakota Oyate, and Denésuline, and the settlements of the Red River Métis. We give thanks to the Creator for the gifts of this land, the water, the air, and for all that sustains life. We acknowledge the sins of the past and present. We commit to not repeating these and to walking in respectful Relationship with one another, in the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation. We are all Treaty people as long as the sun shines, the grass grows and the water flows.
